Midwest Venture Capital Firms and Angels
Venture Capital Deals
Chicago-based Kalderos, which offers a SaaS solution for drug discount management, raised $28 million in Series B funding from Bain Capital Ventures and Mercato Partners.
Augmedics, a Chicago-based augmented reality surgical image guidance maker, raised $15 million in Series B funding led by its U.S. staff (AUG Management LLC), along with AO Invest and TerraLab Ventures.
4Degrees, a Chicago-based startup focused on helping people better leverage their professional networks via an AI-enabled relationship management platform raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Harlem Capital.
Chicago and Madrid-based Copado, a DevOps platform for Salesforce, raised $26 million in Series B funding. Insight Partners led the round with SalesforceVentures, Lead Edge Capital, ISAI Cap Venture, and Perpetual Investors also participating.
Plume, a Denver-based hormone replacement therapy startup, has raised $2.9 million in funding co-led by General Catalyst and Slow Ventures. Springbank Collective also participated.
